Thursday, 05 Mar 2020 Christian Louboutin, the exhibition(ist)

The Palais de la Porte Dorée highlights the shoes’ collection of Christian Louboutin,

The creator of luxury shoes lays himself bare in this exhibit and reflects his inspirations (architectural, cultural, sentimental), his trips and creations as well as his creation process. Come and stroll in this 10 chapters’ journey that will open the doors to his personal collection, to exclusive collabs’ and innovative projects of Christian Louboutin.

This exhibition also brings traditional arts to light, with stained glass creation, carved piece of furniture etc. and testifies of international collaborations with photographers, choreographers and plastic artists or even film directors.

Christian Louboutin’s creations walk the red carpet so what’s more adapted than a Palais to host them? But not any Palais … the one of the Porte Dorée which has a specific meaning to Mister Louboutin who grew up in its neighborhood.

The Trade mark of these quite famous Louboutin are its red leather shoe sole which got inspired by Pop Art. But today Louboutin is also into sneakers, so after effort comes comfort.
